After stopovers in Shanghai, Taipei and Mexico City, among others, the Swiss watchmaking brand celebrated its 100th anniversary in Singapore on the theme of "Past, present, future". An event in the form of an ode to women held on 22 November 2018 in the exceptional architectural setting of ArtScience Museum. Designed like a journey, the event enabled the numerous guests to travel into Mido's past, present and future.
One watch, three styles
Launched at this exceptional event, the Baroncelli Lady Day & Night women's watch, with its dial in mother-of-pearl and diamonds, was designed to accompany every form of female audacity. For work, shopping or evening, its three interchangeable straps give it as many faces as colours.
Create your own Mido Rainflower watch with the international #CreateYourMido participative campaign
A first Mido Rainflower "concept" piece was unveiled exclusively to guests attending this evening event.
Romee Strijd, internationally renowned model and Victoria Secret’s Angel since 2014, set the major #CreateYourMido participative campaign in motion and paid Mido the extraordinary compliment of creating her own Rainflower watch and wearing it for the first time to the party.
This glittering and refined rose-gold PVD model, set with three green tsavorites at 3, 9 and 12 o'clock, will be produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces, and will be available, like the rest of the collection, from May 2019.
The #CreateYourMido participative campaign invites Mido fans to create their favourite Rainflower by trying different combinations of case treatment, dial, strap and precious stones via the mini website rainflower.midowatches.com.
Members of the public can submit their ideal watch and share it on Facebook or Instagram. Participants will have the chance to win a trip for two to Singapore or one of ten Rainflower automatic watches.
The Rainflower collection will be presented in March 2019 and available from May 2019.
