Watchmaking expertise through the ages

With its retro look and extreme reliability, the Multifort Powerwind Chronometer marks a major milestone in Mido's history and its lifelong watchmaking expertise. This 1954-piece limited edition is named after the revolutionary “Powerwind” model released in 1954, which was Mido’s most precise and reliable movement at the time.

This limited edition offers impeccable time measurement thanks to the best in contemporary technology. Its automatic caliber is COSC-certified and offers a precise display of the hours, minutes, seconds, date and day functions. Its components are finely decorated according to watchmaking tradition, with blued screws and oscillating weight decorated with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo.

Connoisseurs will be pleased to know that this unique timepiece is also inspired by the irresistible style of the Multiforts of old. On the dial – embossed with the Mido logo and original Powerwind name – midnight-blue and rose-gold-coloured sunray-brushing plays on contrasts under a “glassbox”-style sapphire crystal. The final touch for a sublime vintage look is a beads of rice bracelet that extends from the polished and satin-finished steel case.
Vintage temperament and precision mechanics – the new Mido Multifort Powerwind Chronometer pays tribute to the technological and aesthetic expertise that has written the story of the brand.
