Mostar, 26th of August 2019
On August 23rd and 24th, the 24 best cliff divers in the world – 14 men and 10 women – met in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 6th stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2019. The iconic old bridge of Mostar – the Stari Most – welcomed back the diving competition for the fifth time. As always, high precision and pure lines were at the rendezvous.
Often cited as one of the most beautiful bridges in the world, the old bridge of Mostar – the Stari Most – and its scenery definitely inspired Mido’s Friends of the Brand. At the end of this stop – the sixth of a series of 7 – Jonathan Paredes (MEX) scored 416.45 points. His extreme precision, pure lines and grace allowed him to grab the 3rd place. Alessandro De Rose(ITA), meanwhile, performed good dives and climbed to the 4th.
Constantin Popovici (ROU), winner of this sixth stop, was awarded a Mido Ocean Star Diver 600. Water-resistant up to a pressure of 60 bar, shock-resistant and perfectly legible even in the darkness of the sea depths, the Ocean Star Diver 600 is the diving watch par excellence.
In the overall standings, Mido’s Friend of the Brand Jonathan Paredes (MEX) is doing great as he currently ranks at the 2nd place.
